1 Less EVO now.

I stopped off at the store to pick up a dew and the clerk asked me if I keep my evo locked up. I was sorta confused and of course I said, yes. Well, she continued to tell me that her friends (BBY 03) Evo got jacked the other night. Along with an eclipse.

Both cars were in Longview and there are no leads so far. She has full coverage though, which is good.

Gosh, I guess it's good I work nights and my parking spot is right outside my front door.

Now there are only 2 evos in longview... both black ones.

Kinda crappy news..

I'm seriously thinking about an alarm system now.
Don't evos have immobilizers or something to that effect though?

well, take it easy and keep your evos locked folks.

Actually dude, I discovered that Evo's are the second most stolen vehicle in the US. Unfortunately they are popular.

I will never leave mine out of the garage again.

Yep this is why when I go on long vacations I leave my car at my friend's house in his garage. Get a good insurance plan and don't have too many flashy exterior mods is about all you can do.

Yeah, and sometimes the insurance doesn't even save you. Mine took like 45 days to settle. Its made a huge mess.

I'll be getting a paging alarm installed next week. It's always garaged at night.

Gosh, I read the thread title and poster and I thought you had crashed or something

I have the Compustar 2w-900ss. That basically means it has paging, and the longest range you can get. I added all sorts of gadgets to the system such as a proximity detector, tilt sensor, microphone, and battery back-up.

Set me back about 1 grand installed, but that and my Jericho 941 keep me sane at night.

Yeah I remember when that was going down for you and that sucked . Hopefully it won't happen to any of us (again). I'm glad the new apartment I am moving to has the car hidden out of plain site.
