.. Sampsonite... I was WAY off.... sickest quote! But i am gonna have to agree with the other younglings up there that it is just a lack of experience. Im 18 havnt had a ticket or been in an accident but i sorta drive like a grandpa compared to all my friends. I just dont see the point in absolutly flying around town when i can just go out to the race track and go as fast as i want and not have to worry about other bad drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since you are wondering why insurance is going up -- the answer to that question is:

YOU!

...and many others like you. I don't get it -- we have insurance companies that offer "accident forgiveness". We have car companies that make cars more "pedestrian collision friendly". Why do people take accidents so lightly?

What ever happened to the gold old fashioned solution of improving driving skills (and taking the driver's license away from people who don't have skills)?

I am astounded by the amount of ignorance I experience on the road today.

In 14+ years of driving, I have never been in an accident. Why? It's because I make good decisions.

Holy crap what crawlled up your a$$?! All i was saying is that my driving has improved over the years. In my younger years i drove like a jackass and because ive had the experiences I have had i am a better driver for it. I just happened to learn the hard way. I know there are 16 y/o drivers that havent had wrecks ever and thats impressive to me.

Well first of all i stole that from some movie and also just because i say that doesnt mean that i drive fast on the streets i will say that i consistantly drive five over but very rarely will i ever go faster than that. I also said that i dont trust other drivers enough to actually drive fast but I would drive fast if we had a highway setup like the one on Germany's autobahn where they dont have speed limit signs on certain parts and everyone is always in the right lane unless they are going to pass someone and they dont have to worry about stupid drivers swerving in and out of lanes and not paying attention to the road.

^^^^ He drives like he's driving miss daisy. I've seen him do it too. And he likes to help old ladies cross the street. He's such a nice young man.
