this month is the worst! my evo was totaled this past weekend. So what happened was i was going 85 S going 285 west...there was this white car tailing me while the highway was merging (the curvy turn) and i braked. When i braked this fool hit my rear bumper and i hit the wall. After i hit the wall i slammed on the brakes and abs locked and i lost control. I spun twice and had direct impact on the wall. This was the results.....it is totaled and i am still waiting for my check from the insurance company.....THe worst part of this story was that the guy who hit me sped off while i was spinning. SO yeah it was a hit and run.......poor evo!~ i cant believe this

whats done is done....hope I dont sound like I'm preaching but...

when I'm driving my car I usually give myself enough room in front to escape if need be.... thats something I've learned while riding my sportbike.....

when people tailgate me in my EVO that makes me a bit nervous too....
usually its people who wanna check out my car, people who wanna instigate a race, or just plain idiots in a rush to where they have to go....

you know what i do I just move over, let them pass and hope they crash and burn and go to hell lol

but anyhow, end of rant, sorry to hear about your loss, but hope you get a new EVO soon.

Wow, I just remembered seeing your car getting dyno tuned at topspeed. Atlanta drivers suck! Sorry for the loss and hopefully your insurance company will reimburse you a decent check.

thanks guys for the support...and dingleberry i might be parting but most likely not. I will most likely be getting another evo (SE) so im just going to use the old parts on the newer car....if the insurance dont send me enought money (knocks on wood) then i will part the car out.

thank god no1 was hurt. this saddens me very much because i as well have a evo ix eb, and looking at it all wrecked makes me feel really sad ...and i hope karma gets the guy who hit and ran ..i hope you get enough money to buy another evo.
