washington vaca/fun spots? HELP!

Just trying to find some place to go for the weekend. Will probably do it mid november to eary december time. Was thinking about going to mt rainier and renting a cabbin but it seems kind of boring. I'm taking my gf because its her birthday and me taking her out is long over due, i'd also like to take my 2 dogs. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Leavenworth is a big hit with the girlies; my fiance loves it there. You can also try Soap Lake for the supposed therapeutic lake water. You can also try Long Beach/Oceanside or make it a crummy weekend at "Cape Disappointment." J/K. Have fun.

Go to one of the islands, take the ferry, if you never been on a ferry its somewhat interesting... Then once on the island find a hotel and stay the night, the next day you can cruise around the island...

andysoo8284: what do you do over there?

02BLUR: thanks for the advice, but we have been on many ferry's. But i'll look into one of the islands to see if there is anything fun to do.

I wanted to do something in the snow because i think its fun. Also I want to see my dogs in the snow hahaha. Also something adventurous but not too much that my gf cant handle it.

Leavenworth? Here you go. Lots of sightseeing, chocolate, good food, and stuff. My fiance likes it alot because it's cute and there are many things to see. Also, lots of snow to make it fun.

yeah and if you're there during the holiday seasons all the little stores have a ton of cool stuff to check out. I've been there before in the snow, its very pretty. There is also a ski mountain nearby too if you're into that.
