Hm 5W-30 edison? Didn't think the weather in Seattle was cold enough to go down in viscosity.

Anthony, I'm surprised you're running Amsoil in the tranny but not the motor. Most people use Amsoil in both not just one. I'm running the TSO 2K series 0W-30 (only viscosity in the line up) but will be switching to the ATM 10W-30 on the next oil change. It's really not worth getting the TSO series because I'll be doing my oil changes every 3-5K miles but I had 4 quarts lying around so I went out and got 2 more.

mobil one in the engine, redline MT90 think 1 qt and 75w90 NS think 2qts could be the other way around...thats in the tranny, for the rear diff and t/c i use diaqueen.

i will be switching to either amsoil or redline engine oil though. not sure.

anthony how you like amsoil's gear oil?

I was just reading another post about Mobil 1 lowering their base oil to III. I wonder how valid those rumors are.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=232827

I wonder how this will affect performance, maybe I should switch to amsoil at my next oil change too.

mobil 1- engine
royal purple-tranny
diaqueen-tc rear diff

I got less then 200 miles on the royal purple and so far it sucks. Hard shifts and its grinds sometimes. This never happened before with my old tranny fluid for 30k miles. It's weird because I have heard good things about it.

Where is everyone buying amsoil went to all my local shops and they dont carry it.

amsoil=motor
royal purple=transaxle
diaqueen=transfer case and rear differential

^Sorry about the fluid problems Austin, perhaps a cocktail with a thinner oil will help?
