Craptastic Weather

Anyone else getting the short black outs and surges? Lights keep flickering and dying for 5-10 minutes only to come back on and start flickering again. This weather sucks. I liked it better when we got lots of snow so I could pretend I'm Tommi Makinen.

!!!! Power keeps going off and on. Music would stop in the middle of my Michael Jackson moonwalk making me sad.

I've had 3 trees go down in the backyard and land on various parts of my neighbor's property. It's looking like another one or two may go down before the weather is done doing what it's doing.
Gooood times.

As far as the lights go, they'll flicker for a moment but they're staying on .. it's still enough to make the router keep bouncing my internet connection though.

no problem with the power - I have a backup power supply for the computers. Unfortunately, the Evo had an unfriendly encounter with a fallen tree blocking the road though

no power for me this morning. I had to try 5 different routes to get to work due to downed trees.

Weather here is horrible. Wind gusts have been 70+mph since last night. A couple reported were 75-76mph and the ski resorts are reporting 75+mph winds. Trees down all over, hard to drive alot of the side streets cause there blocked off.

Saw the craziest thing after work this morning. A huge pine had come down across a street, hit some cars and a house. The craziest thing was the tree had come up by the roots and there had been a truck parked by the base. Well the roots picked the truck up and it was hanging there at about a 45% angle with just the rear bumper on the ground!

The front page has most of the stories and the pictures of the truck. I was passing by as they were filming it.

It's good to live close to "dowtown" here in PA we've had some power flickers, however still up with power, trees are down everywhere though. Drive safe guys.

P.S. - Awesome shot with the truck!
