Pacific Raceways T&T 2/18
The numbers on our cars from today are our competition numbers for 2007.
I was taking it a tiny bit easy on the other runs to save my stock clutch so I was going to go all on my next run as it was going to be the last run for me. Too bad it started sprinkling and they shut the track down. I was gunning for a 12.5 or possibly a 12.4!
Next time Shawn, you can beat me and take the title of fastest import for the day; unless these crazy NW Evo ***** come out. If they do, we're out of luck.

Andy, they can't be that fast... Are they? You did ok... 12.6... unless you have been putting a lot of parts into your car since we last met, 12.6 is really good for the amount of money you have into your car... Bet you wanted to see me on the track don't you? Hahahahaha... Maybe one day, don't feel like getting kick out of the track for one run... kind of expensive... maybe perhaps, one day!!! HOw have you been anyway?
Dang 12.4-12.6, I have been through the traps at that so many times it brings back the best memories of my life. I will be there on the 25th for one last t&T before mine goes down for cams, new valves ect ect.

I'm getting a few counts of knock right after the turbo goes max boost so I'm hoping for no knock and more power when John gets back. It's probably from the new DP and TP and sticking the stock cat-back back on the car.
Anyways I'm doing ok Chewy, how about you? You back in the NW yet? Can't wait to see you guys with more power than me on the track ripping off some 11s.

whats up with the stock catback on the car? throw the 3" on and turn up the boost to 26psi and turn some 12.0's

My trick to running 11's: Go to the track with the gas light on and pump in 3-4 gallons of 100oct they have at the track. Turn the mbc up to ~25psi and get a clean pass and you're there. This works fine for all the stock turbo'd cars with flashes, exhaust, and an mbc. I weigh almost 300lbs and the traps are always close to 113mph.

I'm going with some GSC S1 cams and a custom tune in April and my car should be running low 12s or even better, high 11s when everything is said and done. I'm contemplating the FP Evogreen turbo but that depends on what I run with the cams and 2nd custom tune. I don't want to break the 11.5 barrier since I don't want a roll bar in my car.

+1 on the 100 octain at the track helping. I could never get mine below 12.40 though even when I had the boost up I got some fuel cut in 4th gear near the 1000ft mark. It didnt like anything over 24psi but thats becuase i didnt have a flash or tune. Hence the reason why I have burnt exhaust valves now

Towelie ran an 11.99 and Airpoppoff ran an 11.98 at 113.6 in the same car a pass or 2 later. I ran my time with 25-26psi and a splash of racegas with 2 or 3 gallons left in the tank. I'll run faster on pump next time out because of a few key tuning changes and some other stuff.
Bahhhh. Racegas or meth yes, head studs no. Not on a stock turbo car anyway. I would at the very least get an electric cutout and bypass the stock catback. I ran easy 12.20's on pump with nothing more than what you got and full exhaust.
