yea, glad it was organized. am a little disappointed in the results, as I thought I would be closer to 400, but oh well.
someone needs to post up all the results from the event.. I am curious how the evo9 from washington did that followed me. seemed to have about the same mods...

Scott: Another evo ix without meth running S1 Cams put down 34x i want to say 346 akisan is this right? My roommate with the MR (kevin) with the cosworth cams put down 367 I do believe. this was on meth. and he had headstuds and was boosting 27 psi. I thought that the ix cams were going to produce more. I dont know what you baselined though either. I dont know if you are disappointed in the tune or just the fact taht the cams didnt yield as much as you thought they would. I guarantee that car is tuned 110%. Anyways guys post your numbers up here if you want. Thanks for coming out and supporting Jestr and torque freaks, and I hope most of you are happy with what you are now driving :-D. Take care guys

Yeah Akisan is my buddy, and he did 346. He and I are wondering if his car just produces lower numbers, maybe because of a different break in method or something. I am going to put the cams in here really soon, and we'll see what numbers I have. The car is awesome though still, regardless of what the numbers are. Those cams are a lot better than stock.

Well to say I put down 350(yeah yeah it's not EXACT, but close enough!) I am quite happy with it, and the amount of torque it picked up-340lb! It is a blast. I can have higher number with lower torque and it wouldn't be the same.

And with jestr getting n earful(from me going crazy about being safe ) I am pretty confident that car is 110% good.

Darren put down 32x ish on bolt ons minus cams, I put 34x, so there's 15-20whp right there, which seems about right...

WOOT! Thanks to Anthony and Eric for driving out to my house to help resolve the electrical ground short that I had. I was so happy that you guys had the same issue and knew exactly what the problem was. I thought for sure I wasnt going to be able to tune.

John, you kick ****! Car is running great and no CEL even with the new injectors. Its nice to finally have a tuner actually give you what you paid for. That FP Green kicks some major butt!

I was real happy with my tune after John was done. I picked up about 18whp with the Cosworth cams and that seemed about normal. My car was also way smoother and responsive after the tune also. I think John did my car right - it feels WAY better than it did before.
The only thing that bummed me out a little was that other 9 with the GSC cams putting down 340 something with no meth. That is only like 20whp or so off of my tune with cams and meth. I'm kinda wishing I would have went with the GSC cams now instead of the Cosworth's. It seems all the hype about the S1's are correct and they are in fact a superior stock and small turbo cam. I may even get the S1's and sell the Cosworth's, who knows. The only thing I keep thinking is that my throttle shaft gasket leak and the Tanabe Medallion Touring catback may have costed me some valuable horsepower. I'm going to fix the throttle shaft gaskets this weekend. If nobody else here in Oak Harbor gets a damn exhaust ticket (especially you, Anthony), I'm selling the Tanabe and getting a Greddy Titanium or something. The only reason I got that Tanabe is because of the new exhaust law. I want one of those TorqueFreaks 400hp stickers. I hate not being in the club. I guess a turbo upgrade will be in the immediate future so I can be cool and get a sticker. I don't know if I'm just going to get the FP green or come up with a s^%$ load of green and get the AMS GT35 kit, yes I want 500+whp.

my car is complete for a while. I am going to wait for FP to produce a bigger and better turbo. Until that time im going to save up for internals. Not sure as to what im going to do yet though. Definetly sending the tranny off to shep :-D. Ill do that when im on deployment so I dont miss it lol. Put it back in with a new clutch when I get back. Im kind of sold on the twin disc thanks Chris lol. Gotta branch out sometime. Anyone that needs work during the year give me a call or drop a pm to me. Im going to be gone from the end of may till the end of july. Anytime between now and then and any time after ill be avalible. Anyone needing jestr eflashes during that time let me know too. or if your friends need them. I can do the flashing and logging etc. Kevin should take credit for the short find I was stuck on my car couldnt figure out wtf happened. Glad it did though so we could help you out Chris. I didnt want you not to get your tune. Time to upgrade them cams !!... BUDDY CLUB WHAT?

Dood, if you are gonna be in a club, make it the BUDDY club I think Im gonna get a set of 280's, but I am gonna need some new lifters, springs, etc. May as well do a whole engine over haul. Looks like I am going to find a stock Evo 9 pipe to replace the Evo 8 pipe. I got under there today and I have to agree with TTP, that pipe is damn close. Although I think our solution is fine, but the pipe is only ~$50.

Hey Hannabil, I can print you some 400WHP stickers if you want

It was a fun weekend. Big thanks to Torquefreaks (Mark and Matt) for use of the nice facility. Thanks to Anthony for setting it all up, and I want to thank all of you guys for making it happen.

Enjoy the new found power, and I can't wait to go back over there.

And thank you John for coming out and running a smooth operation. I'd also like to say a big Thank You to Anthony (DSMAWDTurbo) for organizing this event a
2nd time and making the event operate seamlessly. These type of events show how a forum member can take the initiave and set things up and really make a difference for many people in the community. I think everyone who benifited from this weekend should give Anthony some huge props.
I'd also like to thank the participants who "showed some love" and tipped Matt (the dyno operator) He worked all week, and then did this event (including on his day off) and is still working a full week this week. Small gestures like that helps make sure that hes on his A game. Just remember no tip = burnt bumper (j/k) heheheh couldn't resist.
Take care guys!
