I found out from a bunch of guys this weekend at the Tacoma meet that I am probably running real lean. I installed the Injen intake upper lower I/C piping, high flow cat, and cat back exhaust. So of course I was stupid and didn’t realize I needed a reflash after all that. I really want to go on the hood run this weekend but I won't risk it if I don't get a reflash since there is no way I will be able to stay off the gas . I called Lucas and he recommended me to a guy with the screen name of john Bradley. I PM'd him on Saturday but no response. Is there anybody out there that actually knows what they are doing that can help me? I am not sure I can take a day off work to drive down to have Lucas do it this week. I am really damn picky to so whoever does it really needs to know what the hell they are doing. I live in Federal Way and work 8-5 this week. I will drive anywhere after work to anybody that can help.

 

Well, in the last few days I've heard a lot of good things about Herb Jackson at Axiom, in Lakewood (Tacoma area). I'm not sure how late they're open, although maybe you could take a half day or something?

Try Herb Jackson, call up Axiom and Kyle should be able to get him to meet you there and he can tune you. I just got tuned yesterday as well as BabyEvo. I would highly recommend him.

 

They normally close at 7pm Mon-Sat.

I called axiom on Saturday and they said they no longer did ecu reflashes. Don't remember the guys name I was talking to but he said there was someone that did it on the side but they didn’t know his number. Don’t suppose you guys know his number? Or should I just call them back again on Monday and ask to talk to some one who's head isn’t stuck up there ***?

I would say he should talk with some locals in the NW before he went that route. Its better for you to stay local so hopefully JB will answer if not EFlash from the tuners on this site.

They don't necessarily do reflashes, but ask for Kyle and ask him about Herb and for his #, then you can either call him yourself and have him meet you somewhere to do your tune, or have Kyle call him to meet you at Axiom. Whatever's more convenient for you.

Do you even have a wideband sensor?? If not then not even Herb will tune your car. Without a wideband and a good boost guage, there is now way to know for certain what level your car is actually running at.
