Question.... what is up with the A/F gauge???? I rewired it according to DEFi's instructions, and the gauge cycles when I turn on the car, but while driving it does nothing, it just hangs on 17.... Was it working before????

 

Yea I got ryans stuff today. Small battery kit, upper ic pipe with bung for injection, and of course the snow performance kit. Put the small battery in tonight and im liking it more and more, weight savings helps to. Im going to skagit powersports tomorrow to do pricing on methanol. We need to turn this **** nasty and ring that stock snail for ALL its worth

Im the white RS thats been rolling around town, anyways i was talking to some guys early today about that we all need to get together and hang out get to know some of these newer guys that are popping up here in town. but it would be nice if it was a some what planned event cause some of us have kids and wives that try to hinder them from answering the the starbucks evo call. haha, but yeah we should definitly do a gathering of o-town evos and set up a drive too. i thinks its funny when these other guys in WA set up drives and they already know we're from oak harbor b/c of the cars and b/c we always bring the most people! so answer back if yaw are down with setting something up.

I got here a couple years ago with my 03 and thought I was the only Evo in town. Now they're everywhere. I'm glad though. Its like we own the island. Too bad the speed laws are so well enforced....especially against us squids.

Mine is the wingless white 03 with the vortex gen. I've been throwing mods on it for years. I'm due to go back to Torquefreaks and get it tuned for meth so I can get some power out of this crappy westcoast gas. I've been running a pretty safe pump map on a GT35R/2.4 stroker and its just not up to its potential yet. Still too much power for this rock. By the time the turbo hits I'm already wanting to back off in fear of the troopers and OHPD With the exhaust and tubular mani its stupid loud for a guy my age. I'd put a grandma muffler on it if I was willing to loose power...but I never will be. Anyway...see ya around. I know I haven't gotten in on the social evo stuff around here...but maybe one day.

 

sorry guys, we cant meet this sunday its mothers day! so of course im obligated to spend time with my wife, i blame my duaghter! haha. but no seriously we should plan a gathering that following saturday, the 19th. that will also give us enough time to setup a drive.

anyone want to trough out a drive destination or location?? we need to put one together soon.

I think you did the right thing by taking your car to TF for the engine build etc. What kind of numbers are you putting down on pump and what kind of boost are you running.

421 on TF dynojet on 92 oct. 21 psi and pretty conservative. I've got high hopes for my SMC meth kit. Its been installed for ages, but I haven't even filled it up or tuned for it yet. The GT35(63ar)is barely breathing right now, I can't wait to raise the boost toward 30psi.

I'm running AEM EMS, a Brian Crower stroker, and JUN 272cams. I could have done a racegas dyno bragsheet but I didn't bother. I'm not chasing numbers, just fun.

Thanks for the offer on installs. I'm better at just driving and spending money than doing my own depot level maintenence. I'm not afraid to admit to being an idiot. Jason at TF has taken good care of me.

sounds to me like you got it under control. Nice power on pump. Jason is good, I cant diss anyone at TF. They have a bad *** shop and Mark and matt are awesome to deal with. I dont have much experience with jason but ive never heard anything bad. I wasnt trying to call you an idiot lol. You should stop by one day though. I have seen your car on the road once or twice and it was a long time ago. Then I heard about it through the grapevine. The meth kit should get you well over 500 awhp. You should be running some nice boost levels . Right now im dealing with some crap because my meth pump decided to crap out on me. Well it just stopped pumping meth but the pump actually was spinning so at 28 psi... Blew the hg (so its looking) Pushing coolant. Hoping that nothing els else is wrong. Gotta tear it apart here soon
