a bit flashy but straight to point sounds good to me i dunno if that makes sense. I would be nice to get these going cuz i've seen a big boost in younger lancers owners lately.

I'll do pics for you guys if you want. Group and individual, no problem.

Maybe a more sensible way to do it, at least for the time being, would be to settle for a photochop. We could group up in our respective regions and get some footage and have the north region on one half of the card and have the south region on the other half. I dunno.

That would be phatty, or maybe if we got all personalized cars with just our car on it to hand out...that would get kinda cimplicated tho and also look like we are in the club alone...I like the idea of that card tho...the first two are a lil too flashy as far as the cars of choice on em....no ones car in our club even remotly looks like one of those....i like the group shot idea.

Im not sure if we can finish all of these before the end of the week. We could most likely take some pictures by Wednesday and then go to Kinko's and print off a few hundred. At least that way we could have some available for the show.

What's the turnaround time on submitting the card design and actually getting the cards printed? If it's at all possible, we can scramble and try to get pics taken Friday with everyone in town that's gonna be attending the show. As for this week, I'm working late, but I'm available any time before 4 pm every day except Thursday.

What format is the final graphic in? What needs to be done to it? How many need to be printed, what size?

Does someone have this in a PSD, with layers?

Steve (digdat) would have those answers for ya, Don.

Realistically, I think we've still got a very rough version and I'd rather have 1) the huge club pic(s) done and 2) have a more refined mission statement of sorts before we actually start handing them out. Granted, I'd love to have this ready in time for Import Life for any interested Lancer/Evo owners that stop in at the booth, but I think we can handle anyone that expresses interest since there will be a good many of us on hand at the show.

Speaking of which, did you want to bring your car Don?

I just spoke with Kinko's.

We need to have the graphics, fonts, layout, actual *(font files) all setup saved as a .pdf file ready for them to print. Dependant upon how busy they are, they can most likely turn around a few hundred business cards in a day. If they have nothing to do they can most likely finish the project in 30-60 minutes!

Estimated cost:
10 cards per page
1 side full color (with the colors not hitting any of the edges)
1 side black & white

$1.50 per page

100=$15.00
200=$30.00
500=$75.00 etc...

-----------
* if we decide to do something trippy with the fonts

I have the last one that I posted in a .psd file with layers and all ... its about 270k, I can email to whomever wants it.

rather than try and rush with a group car photo, why dont we replace it with a single, stock lancer photo for now and then once we get the whole team in a pic, re-print .. ?
