really, at highest I would assume knock levels to be less than 5 counts with those mods

Depends on the parts. You could get knock with the wrong combination of parts and the stock map (other than the fact that even some completely stock cars knock with the stock map).

Even so, he calls out the EBC on the car more than likely thats what helped it go boom...

For yourself don't you mean remove timing? Or are you changing fuel at the same time?

Would you like to review my log? I was previously tuned from Lucas and John but added some parts that created some knock issues, but my map was great before I added a mbc and 2.5 intercooler piping

I can take a look if you email them to me or something. But if you put them up in the ECUFlash forum that way lots of people much more qualified than me can take a look at them. You'll get way more feedback then .

If its at 4k the only thing I could think of of my head is the LICP pushed the car into a higher load cell that it wasn't hitting before. MBC would make its presence felt higher up in the RPM range because it can hopefully prevent some of the taper.

But if your going out the track tommorow anyway I am sure one of them will help you out...

oh no its ok, its pretty well pointed out that the parts I added shows up on the map, I was expecting changes, I thought you would like to take a look incase if I'm wrong in what I was saying, but its obvious in the logs that 4k is the lucky number

at one point in the map I get 0-1 counts but this is at a run to 5k and a run to 7k shows 9 counts, I'm kinda confused

Well is it repeatable? I.e do like say 3/4 back to back runs on the same stretch of road, going the same way at the same temp and see if its always knocking in the same place or it goes away or not. And also let the car warm up for a few minutes before going for a run.

I like the 3rd gear 2k->7.5k run personally because the ticket on my road will be survivable I think.

yeah I do all my runs at 3rd gear at 2k, maybe John & Lucas could review it tomorrow? I didn't do too many runs because once I saw the 9 counts I was somewhat shocked so I had stopped

^^ but the crowd wants to know if its repeatable or not...run till she blows . If your using EvoScan set an alarm for 9 and greater knock sum and turn the sound up on the laptop. If you hear it just let off.
