NWR/SCCA Autocross Events
So I know that most of you guys want to do some autocrossing, so i got some info on it, looks like we already missed some events but its ok, next event is
June 23 Saturday NWR/SCCA Regional ProSolo #1 Packwood and
June 24 Sunday NWR/SCCA Regional #4 Packwood
http://www.nwr-scca.org/solo/Nextevent.htm
go there if you need extra info check out the schedule also
but basic info: Of course if it is your first time you will run as Novice class, and have a training rider with you (if you want). The first five times you will run as novice
Costs: $30 to run, register online and u should jusst incase the spots are unavailable
Spectating: Free
Theres a link to register on the page...register as novice
Awards and Prizes can be won by a novice, i remember last year Jeff got the award for fastest Novice, and Mekilla got the award for best improved! lol
Last year NWE did this was really fun just drive slow in packwood
Its far but it is worth it, i like autocross better than drag IMHO
Sign up and lets go!

I would be all over this if I was home. Its a great time for the entire family (if you have one). I would reccomend this to any awd owner. You can test the limits of your car and your driving abilities.

I dont recommend trying a ProSolo as a first event (Saturdays event on the 23rd), the format can be confusing, its not ran like a normal autoX. A ProSolo is like a drag race but w/lots of turns. Theres a drag race start with a christmas tree, two cars at once on two mirror image courses.
There are two events this Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th in Everett. Come play!
If you have any questions at the event just ask anyone or find me (only red Evo)

(Like Geoff said above) The WWSCC is having a two day event this weekend in Everett, and there is the BSCC out of Bremerton. Pretty much every weekend during the summer you can find an autocross to participate in.
the wwscc calendar is more inclusive:
