Might be moving to the Seattle/Tacoma area
about passing inspection, would i be able to pass emissions with just throwing on a stock cat. i currently have the dc sports dp with cat delete so obviously i need to put on a different downpipe. Im running hks 272s also. The county i live in does not have bi- annual inspections or emissions testing. I just pay the 120 registration fee and then i get my stickers. I was just curious what was needed to pass. I also have an aftermarket HID kit and 20% tint all the way around. Im pretty sure I'll figure it all out. Thanks again and Ill hopefully be seeing everyone soon. ~Chris

Thanks for all the info. I was just worried a little bit but now im not really sweating it at all now. Anyone know how long I can run around on out of state tags before i start getting in trouble? someone before told me 90 days but that sounds a little long. It was 30 days when i moved to maryland from delaware but i didnt change it for about 4 months
Anyway, thanks again

Yeah, I know its a pretty big fine. That will be one of the first things ill do when i get there cause i cant get a job without a washington license. haha. Im not trying to be poor when i get there.
Where in maryland were you living and did you drive all the way across or have it shipped? I thought about driving but now Im thinking about having it shipped. For the same amount of money for gas and hotel and food I can ship it without racking up 3000 miles of cross country driving on my car.

Yeah, another friend said i could rent a uhaul and trailer my car out. i would like to drive for the experience of just driving across the country cause my bro is gonna fly out from washington if i drive and come with me. I know my car will easily make it but 3k in a week is alot of miles. Im swapping out my bushings and brake pads this weekend so ill see how much noise my car makes then ill have a better feel for my car and its road trip worthiness. haha.
Welcome, you will love washington! I moved here about 3.5 years ago from michigan. I won't be going back anytime soon. BTW I still have a vehicle with michigan tabs. They are personalized and yes I have been pulled over for it and ticketed once. About a year ago. Technically I got pulled over and ticketed for failing to yeild to an emergency vehicle, and for expired tabs. I went to court and got all of it droped. The judge was not pleased with the police officer for wasting the courts time. It was actually one of the funniest days I have ever had.
When I moved here I got a call on friday and was asked if I could be working monday morning. I packed my SUV and took off. 2400 miles in 42 hours straight through.
