Oregon Trail Rally Pics

The rally started out sad today as the first car out, Mark Lovell in the Subie WRT car, crashed in the first stage and had to be airlifted to the hospital along with his co-driver. That section of the rally was cancelled but everyone continued on to the next stage. Here are some pics:

Holy crap i saw life flight flying to ohsu today. I was wondering what happened. actually it probably went to emmanual because they have the trauma unit

Actually, Driver Mark Lovell and and CoDriver Roger Freeman died yesterday in Tillamook State Forest.

Oh god, I didn't know. They didn't tell the spectators anything, just that there had been an accident. That is a tremendous loss.

Thats really, really sad...You never really realize how dangerous of a sport it can be untill a tragic loss like this happens. Even tho roll cages and safety seat belt harnesses plus helmets and such are to keep you protected and prevent death, it just kinda shows nothin is fool proof....Be careful out there...RIP
