DSM/Evo Meet 30+ cars and counting!
DSM/Evo Meet 30+ cars and counting!
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/paci...gathering.html
The guys and I on tuners have a big meet started.
Its for January 13th, and I would like to welcome the Evo crowd in as well.
There are two Evos already coming, and it would be nice to have a few more out there.
Here is the link to the meet.
If you are unsure of making it, then do not put your name down.
I will add you to the list on tuners. Please PM me or reply here or on tuners if you can make it FOR SURE.
EDIT! -- The Meet will be on Sunday, January the 13th! -- January 14th was a TYPO!
Here is the plan.
After concluding the year of 2007 with our last DSM meet here in November, I thought I would start the year off on a good start with a DSM meet a couple weeks after New Years. This allows most of us plenty of time to get our parts installed Santa decided to bring us this year, and show the goodies to the locals
November 11ths Meet was pretty cool, but we've decided to make it a little better this time, and more thought out, allowing for more people to plan ahead and make it. SO, here is the plan:
We all meet up around 12pm at the Alderwood Mall near Lynnwood, at the JC Penny parking garage, 2nd to last level from the top.
The idea of the parking garage meet, is if it's raining/snowing it allows for plenty Space, BSing, and Picture taking, no matter how bad the weather turns out.
At 1:00PM we will cruise on over to the Red Robin near by for a bite to each and chat some more. (This has been changed to 1:00pm, due to the level of attention we will be getting with mall security.)
The Buffet was nice, but we were pretty scattered on the floor in small groups not really giving everyone a chance to meet everyone a little better.
Once everyone has eaten, we have a couple of options:
*Pre-Cruise -- Fill up the tanks at the local gas station nearby!*
1. If the weather seems to be not in the best of shape and its too wet and nasty to cruise, we can call it a day and disperse from Red Robin.
~OR~
2. We can go for a nice cruise and make a nice loop around western Washington.
The start of the cruise would be from Red Robin, jump onto I-5 and head south.
Follow I-5 down to Southcenter and merge onto I-405 North.
From I-405 North, we have a nice drop off destination.
For the North/East guys they can continue to cruise up I-405 North on the eastside, allowing for the people on the western side of Lake Washington to take I-90 West/East and either head to Seattle or over Snoqualmie pass. For the Bellevue area people they can just follow on up I-405 North and merge to 520 floating bridge.
For the South guys we can have them disperse in Southcenter when the North guys merge to I-405 North, over to HWY 167 South.
Olympia and Portland people can continue I-5 all the way down breaking off in Southcenter.
This will be a good cruise and pretty central for everyone, and easy to get home.
I can lead the way for everyone if needed, but it is a pretty simple cruise on the main HWY/Interstates.
If there are questions about the cruise or where you would need to disperse at, just ask me sometime during the meet.
*OPTIONAL FOR ALL*
Most of us guys are going to be meeting up in a nearby Renton parking garage after the cruise. Jack has the spot picked out and he will be leading us to it when we get in the area. This allows for everyone to talk to one another about everything that went down on the cruise and take additional pictures.
We will all separate from there about 30 minutes after the regroup to continue home.

Things Needed:
*Bring Video Cameras, Cameras, extra batteries! -- We need lots of pictures to let all the local people who haven’t made it out yet to see what has been going on, and also allowing us to have multiple pictures of everyone’s cars including their own.:thumb:
*Tools! You drive a DSM, you should always have something!:beatentodeath:
*A good attitude. No one is better than anyone, we're all there for a good time, don't act like a jackazz thinking your cool or better than anyone else!:nono:
Lastly, if you decide to bring someone, or be in someone else’s car that is NOT a DSM, make sure they know the rules, and need to be respectful. This is a DSM meet, not a chance for them to showoff or have a chance to prove anything, we DON'T CARE!:boring:

- If you have any questions please feel free to PM me!
See you all there!

EvoM - has a thread as well to gather any Evos that plan on attending.
Myspace groups - have been notified and possible more should be showing up.
I also have 25+ people that I'm waiting to hear back from to see if they can make it or not.
I was not expecting this meet to grow as big as it has, and it's still getting bigger with more attention. With that in mind I have a small notice for EVERYONE.
NOTICE!
The bigger this thing gets, the more attention we will have, I would not want to get authorities involved because of the size and number of idiots acting like ***-hats. I just want a reminder to everyone else, no revving, burning out, launches or ANYTHING of that sort in the parking garages, The cars will be loud enough setting alarms off, I don't want security coming to us and kicking us out for idiots that can't behave themselves.

There is only one way to read.
Reading carefully and trying to FIND mistakes is a whole nother story.
Maybe you should sell your evo, buy a honda civic and work at your local high school as an English teacher if this interests you more.
But hey, who am I to judge?
You're perfect right?

Trust me I didn't try and find mistakes they easily popped out while I was skimming. Way too much to read thoroughly.
Maybe I should sell my evo to you so you can actually go fast for once
Nah, I'd rather be smart about my finanaces and own a house before I try own own a car and able to say "I have a faster car"
How are those payments and insurance?
It's nice to have a car paid off.
And who are you.
"You know me so well"
You were the first to bash me, so if you don't want a negative response back then don't be an ***-hat.
