Storm 2007 a perspective
So I live out in Grays Harbor right in the middle of what still looks like a war zone. Some of you undoubtedly have seen the mess on TV but it is really beyond belief. One of my brothers who has been to New Orleans and seen that said this was similar. I dont have pix up yet as we got power back 15 minutes ago, it has been out since sunday. There are still people without power and likely to be without power for the next 5-10 days. The roads were reopened just yesterday though there are spots where its one lane because of trees down.
The PUD has brought in something like 25 additional crews to bail us out. Peak wind speed was 82 and I am sure it was higher but it broke the recording device at 82 so no one has official numbers. Centralia and Chehalis are underwater and I5 was closed as well (thurston county). The small town of Raymond and South Bend were closed off with over 80 trees down between here and there (only 26 miles) across the highway.
Price gouging and looting started literally the second day of this disaster because of course there are always going to be those type of people in a situation like this. That may or may not been in the news but trust me it happened. One instance was dealth with by soldiers from Ft. Lewis and for that we have your gratitude.
Other than power loss all my people are good and a few I didnt know before now are as well.

Thanks guys. Its been crazy, least I am crazier and armed like Ft. Knox. I have been in the woods during storms and seen trees come down cause of wind. It was kind of surreal to be inside my house and see the same thing happening.
BTW 06, I will be on board for that project. Let me know roughly when you need me and I will fly out.
