Lightbulb

Have received several inquires about this opportunity which is cool. I am going to be setting up some times to meet with those who are interested at the shop. I can you around. Might help to have you come out and see the place and check it out.

I am scheduling times on either Sunday 30th of December or Saturday the 5th of Jan.

So for those who have emailed me, hopefully one of these dates will work for you. Let me know if you want to come out and we can talk in more detail on what the team is looking for.

Thanks.

Man Im actually going to school to pursue a motorsports degree, where I fabricate sheet metal and chassis, set up a late model stock car and we go race it at local short tracks. Keep in touch with me and if you guys ever make it to VIR in Va let me know and I can be down there. I wish I lived out there. The only person I know on the west coast lives in Cali haha man that sucks. Good luck though

Cindi I Have a little bit of free time on my hands right now. I could help out. I grew up around Formula Fords so I know a little about racing.

Cindi,
Brian Davis here.
I'd be interested in joining the road crew.
I already have a local gig here, with Brewer.

Hey Brian,

Our road crew consists of folks who have either been in our program for 3-4 years or full time race engineers from Dodge motorsports. So unfortunately, we don't have any openings at the moment for that part of the team. Those positions are pretty desired but even more difficult because you need to take off an entire week for every race.

So its our home crew at the shop that we have the openings and need the most help with our expanding program. But thanks for the offer.

Best of luck next year with Brewer's program.

thanks,

Cindi

Got a lot of good responses from you guys. Just wanted to say thanks for all your interest and inquires. You guys rock.

We only have a couple of spots still left so if you know anybody who might be interested in this racing program, let them know soon. ok? We start to get pretty crazy at the shop in the next couple of weeks prepping for our track testing. Let the games begin.

Thanks again guys for all your supportive comments. Maybe you guys can join us at the track sometime for a race? Or heck, maybe have a group "cruise in" at our race shop in the spring or summer. We would love to have you.

Cheers,

Cindi

Hey guys -

I met some of you at the PDXmas Tuner Bash held at the Toyota/Scion dealership in Beaverton last winter.

I responded to Cindi's ad back in Dec. and have had the privilege to work with Cindi and her crew at the shop in Cornelius the past several months. I can't tell you how awesome it's been. I love Vipers!!!!!

I joined the crew with a bit of mechanical experience and lots of passion. I've helped pull out engines and swap trannies a handful of times, but mostly, I come to the shop with an open attitude knowing that I might just spend a night loading parts into boxes or help load up the transport truck. Every little bit helps - there is always a ton to be done to keep the operation smooth and the cars fast.

She did AWESOME in her first race of the season in Long Beach, finishing 9th place out of 28 cars. But we have many more races yet to go! Cindi mentioned that she's interested in maybe adding another person or two to the home crew. Typically, this involves coming out to the shop 2 or 3 nights a week and every Saturday. The hours are very flexible.

If you're willing to sacrifice the long hours in return for invaluable racing knowledge and camaraderie, feel free to send me a PM or shoot an e-mail to Cindi at cindi@luxperformance.com. The shop is located in Cornelius, west of Portland.

Here are some links w/ more info about the team and the series:

Thanks guys
