Lucas is a great company and they are great guys to talk to. I finally called him the other day and we talked for about 30-45 minutes about certain ideas he has and visa versa. He had no problem going over setups and ideas with me and being more then helpful.

I have talked to allot of tuners and engine builders over the years and its very hard to talk to most of them. They don't want to hear your ideas and basically tell you this is how it is. I cant wait to get some prototype stuff finished and take it to English Racing to see how things work out. The best part is if something comes up he takes the time to work with you and figure out what happened or what didn't happen and take the step to make it right.

P.S. This was the first time i had ever talked to English Racing at all! FYI.

I've gone to a differen't shop once since owning my evo and they screwed me. Its nice to have a honest shop so close, I wont take my car anywhere else now.

So English Racing doesn't make doughnuts?

Lucas is a great guy and really down to earth. Very nice and willing to go out of his way, I had the honor of meeting him at Pacific Raceways. He was nice enough to give me a ride in his Evo to get some of Paul's parts from his truck. I would not bat an eye dropping cash for his shop's expertise.

You will find no one more Genuine than Lucas English to work on your 4g63 in the PNW. Lucas tells you how it is w/out being a dick about it. He always follows up and gets back to you when you ask him something and is always fair to his customers. He is just a regular guy like you and me, like he said. I remember watching him make his first 10 sec pass in his talon when I first had my dsm and he is just as cool to talk to and is just as down to earth since he bought his evo and since his business has sky-rocketed. You will only find consistency from him and that is what I look for in a good business person and person in general. Thank you for posting this up here Lucas.

can't wait to check out the shop, definately everyone can agree that its great to see a place in the northwest dedicated to evos rather than the typical subie shop

I drove from Yakima and left my daily driver there for almost a week, when came back (Lucas was cool enough to pick me up at the trainstation) my car was a completly different animal

He knew I was driving to Seattle that day and he was cool enough to call a few hours later and make sure the car was running perfect, and that was X-mas Eve.
Nice touch, man

I will be back for sure, already dreaming of a 2.3L and another bigger turbo
