Back at IL3 Jon and I discussed getting some shirts for TLNW I have a very good friend in that industry and he ows me quite a few favors so we could get hooked up. The main cost involved is the shirt, if we could get a count together and sizes needed i could get a common shirt for target or whereever that would match to help offset the cost and then it is all just deciding on if we want the logo embroidered or silked on the shirts. Let me know what you are all thinking about this I would like to get something by August 30th for the cruise in if possible.

 

Definitely good to have stuff like this ready for the cruise in on the 30th. We need to decide on a design and we should be good to go from there.

I am working with Eric on the logo's as well as the website we will try and get something by the 30th so we can roll up in style.

 

I designed a card that people seemed to like which I thought was pretty clean looking. Nothing happened to with it and the thread kinda died ..

People commented on the following as a request for the card:

1. Group shot of cars/members for the front. This ain't gonna happen by Aug. 9 or Aug. 30th realisticly. Lets do something simple for now, get our cars hooked up and then get a group shot and get cards re-printed when the first batch runs out... that should be fall or so?

2. "Mission Statement" on the back. What does it need to say?

My comments are:

1. Who is our target audience? Lancer owners, correct? Do we REALLY need 500 of these cards printed? Unless we will be in a show soon, it doesn't seem like we'd need more than ... 200-300?

2. What else do you guys want on the card thats not currently on it? What do you want removed?

We may not be able to get a group shot by the 9th but we can get some single shots of the cars and owners for the website, eric and i are in need of pictures so we can design something because at this point we got nothing, so come on all let's get as many people together on the 9th and those that don't show up then try and make it to the one on the 30th my goal is to have all members rides and bio's up on the site no later than September 10th if this means we need to meat with you individually then so be it but keep us informed so we can get rolling on this. one thing to remember is that the bigger we get and the more organized we get the better sponsers, which in turn we get either better hook up or even free **** so let's move on this.

 

Okay I talk to my shirt guy, right now the are preping for the fair and he will be finished with everything on the 10th of August I told him I wanted the shirts done by the 30th and he siad no problem. As far as pricing we will probably have to buy our own shirts if I could get a list of everyone that wants a shirt and the size they will wear (I recommend going a size up) I will find a deal on shirts, this way the all match, that is it for now if anything else comes up I will let you know.

 

What happened to the pics we took at the last Vancouver meet? I've also got random pics on my computer and a digicam at my disposal. Let's hook up some time soon and get this started.

 

Eric says he has now idea where those pics are and I don't have any, what we would like to is put up a bio page of members and have the owner and the car, so on the 9th try to get as many people together as possible we can all clean our cars then take pics.

 

How about a picture of my ripped apart ECU, with wires strewn all over my passenger's side floor? Going to bed now, which is what I should've done instead of cutting wires... Blah.

where do you guys want more pics posted? ive got a few in my profile .. I know ghostrider does too .. maybe we could post a complete listing of members with links to their profs here and you can get pics from that?

 

Yeah, if you guys can, let's set up an ftp and just u/l all our collective pics. Then whoever wants to work on the website can just grab pics and request whatever else may be needed online.

 

so what do you guys want on the shirts? small thing on front and large thing on back... pics/text etc.. any particular color of shirt ? plain white cotton?

 

I like small on the front. Preferably where a pocket would go.
Big on the back is ok- preferably different than what's on the front. Garish is bad.

Black is my color of choice.
For the size: friggin' uuge (XXL or bigger, since I'm a beefy guy)

Theory- Did you get the memo about the TPS reports? And aside from people skills- what is it that you DO around here?
