First X Owner in the NW?!?!

Well, I didn't have any plans on buying a X. I just went down for a simple test drive to Premiere Auto on Canyon road. After the test drive, I was sold. Dont get me wrong, I love my VIII, and I am going to miss her a lot. Theres just something about having ~400WHP at your demand, and I am going to miss that. However, I wont miss the road noise, the bumpiness, the whining 1st gear, and did I mention the road noise? I can actually have a conversation with someone in the car on the highway now

I had to order a custom car to get the specifications I wanted, and it will hopefully be in this week.

I gotta tell you though, if you want a X, Premiere Auto was pretty easy to work with. Just bring your laptop (They have free wireless) and use the infinite information on the web to argue price etc. Stay strong and you will get all your needs met. Not to mention the guys I was working with were way awesome. Go see Jacob and tell him Chris sent ya Then start harassing the hell out of them.

Bah, if I wanted a lack of road noise I'd of bought any one of the n!+1 luxo-sport cars on the market... BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Infinity, etc etc...

Grats on the new car however!

Oh yeah. Thats true. But damn, it was so fun to mod I really got all the super mod juice out of my system with the Evo VIII. It was a blast learning how to read the ECU, and work with those MUT protocols though. Damn, I enjoyed all of it. Even when I put the FP Green on and accidentally created a short in the starter, which scared the crap out of me. Its been mostly good times, and everyone, except my wife, still loves this car. I gotta be honest, I am really gonna miss her man. She has been awesome to me.

Damn... sounds like an expensive way to get rid of road noise!

I just put down dynamat on the floor and doubled it up in the trunk. Pertty amazing stuff. Yeah it added some weight, but it was well worth it. As a matter of fact, I had to stick the stock exhaust on a few months to get throught DEQ, and it was sooooo quiet that I have yet to put the perrin system back on. I swear it gives my Benz E320 a run for the money on the freeway.

Congrats on the car! I can't wait to hear your impressions once you have it. Heck you should come by & give me a ride.

J
