Oh hmmm. Its a common things in the subaru community (its what i came from) but I wasn't sure how much different it would be for the Evo. Maybe I'm just a little baby about getting condensation behind them and being overly cautious haha.

I had my tails smoked a couple months back at a body shop. Turned out well so I am going to do my side markers and rear reflecters along with a buddy of mine's 335i side markers here pretty soon. Gonna try it on my own this time.

I blacked out my own headlights, but had someone else paint the housings, the most I did was remove the housings and amber and pieced them back together, pics here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=327575

Doing the headlights is really easy, it just takes a few hours to take everything apart and put it back together. There are several threads on here regarding the process.

I've done by headlights and a few of my friends. It takes some patience and a few burnt fingers from the heat gun.
