This is just my two pennies, but why worry so much about being a club. Stickers?

Seems as soon as it gets a name or a label it all starts to fall apart. This person says this, that person says that, we should do something this way, we should meet here, no we should meet there.

Why not just meet up and hang out and call it good. Once someone is appointed authority or made the decision maker in a group, someone ends up unhappy. Than comes the drama.

I have stated this fact a few times before. But things are bound to get messy when you get a large group of people together who have 1 main thing in common and try to keep everyone happy. It just doesn't happen sometimes.

I'm not trying to rain on anyones parade, just some constructive criticism.

Ok well I just got off the phone with codgi and we set a date for April 27th which is the last Sunday of the month time will be later in the after noon and place will probably be in Tacoma or Seattle area. So some info for good places to do this at ie; a restaurant with a large parking lot and a conference room that we can rent, for the meet. If any one has any questions or info you don't want to post on here you can pm me or call 360-286-3400 name is Josh. You have a point, but then again, that is not always the case. I think we have a good group of guys that do not want drama, and are grown out of that scene. I wouldnt say he is our "leader" but he sets things up, i think its more like, everyone is a leader, and it is a GROUP, and not just a single guy telling people what to do. I agree with you, that when you put one man in charge, things fall apart, but this is not like this. And if it gets to be like this, then it will not last, and I will make something that will last. But, i think we have a good thing going.

The 27th sounds good, we shouldnt do it in tacoma or seattle, we should do it in the middle, say renton or SouthCenter, so its right in the middle of both big cities... SouthCenter would work great.

 

I think it would work out fine if one person is "in charge", after that it just is what it is. If someone doesnt like the place of the meet, the time, or whatever then too bad. If you guys have a meet in Tacoma i would most likely skip it, no big deal. But if it was up my way i'd make it.

 

Not trying to start drama but I am coming from Bremerton like I do for all the NWE meets. Renton or southcenter sound good do you know of any places that we could use in those areas.

Ok, so most people are saying southcenter so lets go with southcenter. How about we try and decide where in southcenter at this point?

Having a leader is a good and bad thing, but if we had leaders maybe we would be able to be more successful. Just my 3 cents..

There shoudnt be turmoil about starting or joining a "club". Nor we should shun away a person for trying to. Hanging out a group of car friends and being in a club both have equal amounts of excitement and entertaiment. If someone want to just hang out with a bunch car friends then that shouldn't be different than someone hanging out with there club members. And vise vera.
