it was his stock t-case, as of 1pm today they had not taken it apart to see what the problem is

 

A few of the case bolts (that hold it together) are busted and lying on the subframe which isnt a good sign. It drained all the gear oil out so it may have taken out the ring and pinion but I am waiting until the rack frees up to pull it and take a look tonight or tomorrow. It is pretty hammered but maybe I will get lucky and only have a broken output shaft (intermediate shaft?) but I am not counting on it.

hey man look on craigslist, there is a 04 wrecked, the guy might part you the t-case.
