Hi peeps......

hey guys,

i was told that i should put a quick post up in here seeing as though im fairly local! i have put the obligatory 'nooob' post in the appropriate section but one of your fellow regional members suggested i also put something up in here!

I'm from the UK and have had a number of Evo's i have just moved to the USA on a more permanent basis and i'm looking to get back into the Evo scene!

Just thought i would say hi! i have just moved to Renton, anyone local? i spend a lot of time over in Redmond with work... and no.. im NOT Microsoft haha

hi, thanks for the welcome! nice to know there are a few owners down my way and in and around Seattle....

Are there any reputable people looking to sell or trade their Evo's? i seem to keep reading that all the Mitsi dealers are going out of business?!? maybe its time to go to the darkside and look at an STi? lol

Concidering what mitsu dealers are left to support their product around here, a scooby is looking like a more logical choice for selection.

Welcome!

I'm in Renton, actually the Fairwood area a few miles south east of Renton. There is at least one other Evo owner in the Fairwood area, I've waved but not meet the guy.

Welcome bro, I work in Kirkland... Kinda close to Redmond.

Check out the Northwest Evolution thread in the West here, monthly club meetings, track meets and dyno meets to name a few things that we are planning to do this summer.

i have had a couple of 4's and a 7, loved them all and they were all very well looked after

I love the retro look of the 4's, anything before it is too retro for me lol, the new platform of the 7,8 & 9 is the one i really like, especially in white and grey!

Had lots of other cars, BMW 530, M3, tuned XR2i (uk small hot hatch), tuned 3 series etc.... but love the practicality and performance of the Evo... the only negative is that in the UK they are very VERY expensive to run and insure! over here they are much cheaper to do so..... i guess if you can find a dealership that:

a) knows what an Evo is lol
b) one that isn't bankrupt!?

oooh Lawin, your car looks gorgeous! just a little out of my price range though sadly, im looking for something around the $20k mark or below.

p.s. - why is my post count still on '0'?!

Welcome by the way
