I'm looking to buy an Evo 8 in NE Portland. It has been modded, and I want to know exactly what has been done to it. I know a few things about it, bigger IC, LICP, UICP, Drop In filter, turbo timer, stage 2 clutch, etc.

I was hoping someone could let me know if there are any major life changing mods on it. Any negatives I can expect. I wanted to buy a bone stock Evo 8, but it seems those are getting harder and harder to find.

I'd be willing to compensate for your time, and possibly get a new driving buddy.

Unfortunately I don't. It is a wholesale car. If I don't get it it will be going to Beaverton Mitsubishi (supposedly).

They said I have until monday to get it checked out before they stop holding it for me.

 

Or better yet, did anyone recently get rid of a 2003 Red evo 8? That has the above modifications? The drive side recaro is a little beat up from getting in. Has a Greddy shift knob. Any info would be appreciated...

 

Well I bought it anyways... I'd love for someone to meet up with me and show me some things about it.
