Yep you could be making 600whp with the best kit on the market but the civic next to you with lambo doors will more than likely win.

OT I did see a fairly nice silver VIII at korum today. He had some show parts that looked pretty good. Kinda looked liked Ryan's old car I think.

If you don't have any thing postive to say then don't say it at all on this thread. This kind of talk pushes people away that want to be in this lifestyle (car show). The point of NWE showing at HIN is to help other Evo owners that there is a group of people here in the NW that is crazy about this car. And yes I know car shows do have some politics to it. That is the nature of the beast, the same as any other type of event. And the word rice out has been tosed around so much that it really don't have a meaning anymore. It is more like a witch hunt attacking poeple that doesnt fit a curtian way. Ex. Many would say that any stickers on a car make it "riced out". But if that car is a 10 sec DD then does it really matter??

And if you do have something to say then go to the next NWE event and speak out there.

first I wont be showing with NWE this year.

Second, Kevin, I am with you. For those of us who enjoy a nice looking car, who take shows as a way you expressing ourself, let others know this is me and my car. Its important to know that number one objective of going to show is not the win, its the joy, winning is nice, but having fun hanging out is fun as well. I met some cool people at HIN last year, and we have some good chinese food in China town.

You won't win anything unless it's been riced out. Most of these events don't care about practical power/mods unless it looks pretty
And I will have to disagree... look below, does it look "rice out"?

what about this?

well, it won last year...
