brakes part 2

Finally got back on PIR after my brake incident. Current setup is now...
Works 2 piece rotors
AP Racing blue 600 fluid
Ferodo DS3000 pads

Holy crap!

Toward the end of the day after a proper seating I was braking from 130 at the 375 350 mark with absolutely no fade on both the front and back straights. I tried 300 a few times but I couldn't make my line. All I can say is the brakes are amazing, the only thing I think I can compare it to was my motorcycle.

I could out brake anything that was on the track during my session, it rocked!

Was a great day all in all, Akisan was there, and thanks for letting me leech your shade was fun meeting and hanging out with you guys

I hung out until about 5:30 then went over to the BBQ they had afterward. One of the guys there had a full GT-1 race Evo 8 that was utterly sick. I ended up leaving Portland about 8 back to Seatown. I wasn't sure if you guys were still coming down or not or I would of. How'd things go for you guys that night?

Yeah good times man.
You were really quick, I never really caught up with ya at all. My friend who was at the chicane told me you were really ripping it on those corners, better then me.
I am still bit shy on my braking. I'm still braking at 500 so I can just get it done. Next time I'll definitely go at 400 and work my way.
We were definitely showing evo power that day. we were probably the quickest of our group.
See ya at next TC

I'm sure Jason will, but I'm in P town and I'll stick to PIR.
We have the session starting like 830am and ending at like 4 pm, so anytime in between. earlier might be better though.

I have to get licensed up here in Seattle which sux 3 ways. The service manager told me when I bought my car I could do whatever I wanted as long as it doesn't require a license and the same with my insurance company. The TC events in Ptown are considered driver education so I'm fully covered if I go to hot or get hit by someone and they don't void my warranty.

Plus Portland is a 1000x better track.
