Built 2003 Mitsubishi Evo

Up for sale is my '03 Mitsubishi Evo. I am the 2nd owner of the car. First off, I REALLY don't want to sell this car, but I need to. Believe me, if I could keep it I would! The car is a blast to drive and very powerful. Everything is still on the car, a/c,p/s ect, nothing has been removed from the car for weight reduction. I have done everything to this car, so everything is done right. No cheap parts or shady work on the car. Right now on pump fuel + meth the car puts out 545 hp with 480 tq. On race fuel it made 590/520 but had to stop there since the stock ignition couldn't do much more. Just added an HKS DLI2 ignition, so if you want more power all you need is a re-tune and more boost! This was all done on a mustang dyno.I have dropped alot of money on the car, over 25K in parts alone! The car currently has 45100 miles. And about ~6K miles since the motor build and all the other parts.

Just curious. How much are you looking to get for it? Probably way out of my price range.

I realize the car is probably worth at least close to what you are asking. Is there anyway to get the price down at all? Maybe removing some parts like the meth kit, etc.

I haven't driven or ridden in an Evo with anything other than a stock turbo. Is there a ton of turbo lag with that big snail? The Evo I had before had a stock turbo and I loved the instant power. On the other hand, I used to have a turbo honda back in the day and that thing had lag like crazy.

If you look at the chart that was posted it has some lag over stock, but less than 1000 rpm or so. However, that car will pull and keep on pulling until you think it is done...then it will pull some more! By the time you let off the accellerator I'm guessing the ear-to-ear smile will have you forgetting about any lag you thought you knew. And it has a sunroof!

Good luck with the sale!
