Question To Valet or not to Valet park your Evo??

If you had no choice but valet parking--would you have your Evo be valet?? Or would you find another parking or park your car on the street even if it was 3-5 blocks away?? Or do you even care if someone else drives your Evo and park it for you???

Totally agree with Protostar1. I would gladly walk 3-5 blocks if it meat no valet. There was a thread a few years back where the valet wrecked some guys evo. Didn't total it but still any damage on my evo means somebody would forfit their life!

I wouldnt let any lame person park my car, even if you had the valet mode on they would still try to kill it by doing launches or something park your own car and save money lol

I would only be worried because of my race clutch -- most people are not used to that. Your car is probably easier to drive, being an automatic? (dual clutch etc) so maybe less to worry about.

How do you put something in valet mode? I'm taking my girl out to Seattle Waterfront Grill and my friend say if you slip the guy $30 and let him know you want the front spot he'll do it. I wanna do this for once...cause the last time I was there, he parked a Bentley Continental GT there lol. Having it in the front will be good cause I'll watch him park it first

Word to the wise... if you do get valeted make sure to turn off turbo timer... speak from experience the guy left it in 1st pulled the e brake and the car almost crept into another car... he was embarrassed and I laughed...

thats exactly why i dont let other people drive my car...im going to install my remote start and once i do that i wont let anyone drive my car...since i have to bypass the clutch to install it...it makes me really nervous that someone would leave it in gear

valet mode is something that has been added to the software of stock ROMs and something that we add as part of a normal tune. I can set the valet mode RPM to anything...literally.

So I got tuned by Lucas/Aaron and didn't know about the valet mode. I think I'm just being stupid, but how do you put it into valet mode? Is there some kind of trick?
