Totaled...

Last night, me and my friend finally swapped my manifold out and fixed a few other things, so it was garaged for about 2 months. I have the GREX oil cooler, and it had a leak, got that all welded up.

Oh, keep in mind, the front right tire had VERY VERY little tread because of the oil leak it used to have.

So we took it out just to see if it would boost properly, not mashing it tho.

We took a sharp turn, and the grex oil fitting must of not held up, we spun and shot around. I was not boosting, not pushing it, nothing, was going 30 in a 35.

It is possible that we did not tighten the fitting tight enough I suppose, but who knows.

We are lucky to be alive, there was nothing but rock walks all around us, except for a random *** driveway that i didn't even know was there. But somehow, thank god, we spun right into the driveway, versus the rock wall.

Evo Status : Most likely totaled. I'll post pictures later.

Medical Status : I broke my wrist, sprained my right ankle, and am in pain everywhere. Passenger was bruised, possible broken toe. Back seater has three cracked ribs, a concussion, and fractured something.

Legal Status : 500+ for neg. driving - 500 for no proof of insurance(I just bought new insurance a week ago, and never put the card in the glove box because it wasn't even drivable. Also some $120 charge for expired tabs. - Total of about $1,300.

The cop was an absolute dick, and accusing me of reckless driving, where as honest to god, I was going between 30-35 in a 35.

I took pictures of the bald tire, the attempted re-welded grex oil fitting, and a picture of the rear tire that was COVERED in oil, along with the side skirts.

Also, I literally just got insurance five days ago...Its going to look pretty suspicious to them I have a feeling.

Good thing you got pics...should help in court. Hard to understand how everybody got hurt at 30mph when you spun into a driveway though

The rear hit the wall and spun us, I hurt my wrist and ankle because of the steering wheel and pedals and such.

Passengers toe hit the lower dash.

And the 'smart' person in the backseat with all the damage was either not wearing a seat belt or just not the shoulder strap, and that would make sense why the ribs cracked. I was un-aware of this until the medics told me.

man that really sucks... there is a little bit of good news

I take it westside means your in Washington, if that's the case your no proof of insurance ticket ($534 i think) can be reduced/dropped all you have to do is show the court that you had insurance at the time and they'll drop it, you'll just have to pay a $25 court cost fee.. I've had to do it twice since my dumb a$$ keeps forgetting to put the card in the car...I'm obviously not a lawyer but from what your saying it seem you should have a good chance with getting the other $500 ticket reduced/dropped the pics you said you took/witness should help a lot....

Hopefully there's some sunshine through the clouds

best of luck to you. crappy situation but like everyone else said, at least no one was hurt fatally. sucks about the car, even worse because you werent doing something stupid you can blame it on. on top of that the cop. just be thankful because it could have been worse. gl with the outcome
