Has anyone on this thread ever driven/heard/felt/lusted after a Maserati in person?

Maserati's have probably the sexiest exhaust note among exotics.

I'm not talking about what sounds the most powerful, or who is the loudest, I am talking about a downright passionate, I've-Never-REALLY-wanted-to-make-love-to-a-car-till-I-experienced-a-Maserati's-exhaust sound.

I'm telling you, if you haven't already, go find a Maserati and listen to the sex that comes out of it's pipes!

Me and two of my old bosses went out cruising one day, my evo, their Maserati and their high 400whp s/c mustang (second to last body style).

We all traded drivers seats a couple of times and hands down mine was the fastest, the mustang was outrageously fun, and the maserati was the absolute sexiest sounding car on the planet!

 

I dunno bout that...mine was recently called the "sad" BOV when I let her rip

chicks dont really respond to the Evo sound i have found. they love the exhaust cutouts on my camaro though. always get compliments from girls on it.... never on the evo though lol

 

Unfortunately the Evo is not that great sounding engine/exhaust, not many exhausts out there that make the engine sound good, fortunately, the turbo sounds great.

 

Depends.. I think evo sounds great with little bit of cams and 3" exhaust.

 

I'm straight piped, with a divorced wastegate dump (EPM)... My car sounds like a crazy demon, especially under the overpasses! It sounds good though.
