^ I just received my bumper back from the painters this week and they say I have to wait 30 days to get the clear bra on, so it'll be sometime in early Feb. I'll hit ya up.

I'm assuming it's probably easier to put the clear bra on with the bumper off, but can it be done with the bumper on the car?

Actually, it'd be easier to leave it off because of the canards... right? Also, the paint shop I went to said to wait 30 days before applying the 3M stuff as well as the Dealer Xpress whom I got a quote from to put the 3M stuff on. Are you saying you can put the bra on right after painting?

I've also heard that you need to wait at least 2 weeks before you put the bra on. Better safe then sorry, but it is your choice in the end.

I don't think he is freaking out. This is what he was told by a paint shop, so he is going to follow what they say. I would do the same thing.

Better safe than sorry.

^ Yeah, if they hadn't told me that then I'd have the clear bra on and I'd be rockin a little more voltex, but they said their warranty doesn't kick in until 30 days after pick-up. With the amount of $$$ I've put into these parts I want to make sure I don't FU anything.

^ Hmmm, well I guess I'll look into it a bit more. The bumper is currently sitting in my spare room and hasn't been installed, so no worries about pre bra chipping.

xpel. well.. 3M is made them and sell to other company and put their brands on Xpel or whatever.. My 3M guy will put anything.. whole body, front end, Bumpers, Door handle bowl, Door Rocker panel scuff protect, Headlight, Fog light etc... on Clear bra.. 3M best market..

He dont do pre cut... He do freestyle hand layer and cuting perfection.. without mess up paint or bubbles on clears..
