^ I just received my bumper back from the painters this week and they say I have to wait 30 days to get the clear bra on, so it'll be sometime in early Feb. I'll hit ya up.

Actually, it'd be easier to leave it off because of the canards... right? Also, the paint shop I went to said to wait 30 days before applying the 3M stuff as well as the Dealer Xpress whom I got a quote from to put the 3M stuff on. Are you saying you can put the bra on right after painting?
yeah u can put on After paint.. dude i did alot paint job and my Clear bra 3M guy come in and put on it after 2 or 4 hours paint cure in booth then dried hard.. i dont understand why u freakin out need wait fro 30 days. or something. that silly.. i think that body shop want u wait cuz they dont want re do or re paint your bumper if that guy screw up..
Mostly u okay if after paint cure from booth heater (baked) and out of baked and put on clear bra it good.., if u plan to leave on it.

^ Yeah, if they hadn't told me that then I'd have the clear bra on and I'd be rockin a little more voltex, but they said their warranty doesn't kick in until 30 days after pick-up. With the amount of $$$ I've put into these parts I want to make sure I don't FU anything.
i just show my painter about that forum.. he say that silly. we called 3m rep and they say it fine after they layin after paint.. im sure that where u sent to paint.. they dont do clear bra?
we do alot on meredces, bmw. i understand it body shop policys. but i would put clear bra on before more chips on it.. i

^ Hmmm, well I guess I'll look into it a bit more. The bumper is currently sitting in my spare room and hasn't been installed, so no worries about pre bra chipping.
xpel. well.. 3M is made them and sell to other company and put their brands on Xpel or whatever.. My 3M guy will put anything.. whole body, front end, Bumpers, Door handle bowl, Door Rocker panel scuff protect, Headlight, Fog light etc... on Clear bra.. 3M best market..
He dont do pre cut... He do freestyle hand layer and cuting perfection.. without mess up paint or bubbles on clears..
