Anyone in the Seattle Area get their Voltex front bumper street edition 3M coated? I'm looking to have this done in about 30 days and I'm looking for a shop which already has the template so I can save a little $$$. LMK .

u mean CLEAR BRA 3M? My work have those.. we certified install Clear bras... on alot Mercedces and BMW, Some porsche and ferrari in past and now

 

What do they charge for a voltex front bumper? Name of shop?

i recommend accutint also. one of my buddy got his e55 clear bra put on from there and they did a quality job. shiet's not cheap though, i think he paid well over a grand, but he did his whole front end and parts of the fender and side mirrors

Most Clear bra is Expesive.. but Self 3M Clear Bra Adshive is expesive like 100$ a Yard.. and Labor is maybe 60$ a hr.. or more.. depend on company.. and plus.. I get Discount if i want Clear bra on it.. lol I really hate Clearbra. Beacsue it go Yellow some soon.. and if u remove it.., it might Damage paint like Peel paint with adshive or something and it leave one look brand new paint and one is old with swirls n haze.... and plus it will not Procect rock chip just paint surfaces.. but u will still get ding or dent.. Nightmare is Bubbles in Clearbra or faded.., it my option.. I like clear bra.. but u should look at Creamic Clear Coat refinish.. they are currently on New cars like Mercedce, Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Lambo, luxury cars that have Creamic clear coat refinish that pervent FIne scratchs, swirls, and Chips rocks..

 

Does your shop put that stuff on as well?

 

I was thinking about doing my Voltex front bumper too but now its already got a few chips and scratches so I will wait till I have it freshly repainted then do it I have seen what looks like just clear vinyl and it comes off like vinyl stickers too... its not as tuff as the 3m stuff or clearbra but its a lot cheaper and wont damage paint when its pulled off I may look into that a bit more tho first

 

I understand that it may damage the pain if taken off, but why would anyone want to take it off?

Also, is the voltex bumper easy to get on and off or once it's on can the stock bumper be easily reinstalled?

 

Yes my shop.. We do only Athorzie work on BMW and Meredce and Porsche and ferrari in Washington.. we use all OEM match Clear coat cremaics and we do alot aftermarket jobs.., like custom refinish, body work and Clear bra 3M and etc... alot..

We are **** perfections and make customer happy.., it our number 1 to make customer happy what they request.

 

Take off when if u have collison front bumper.. and fender.. u need Blend clear to match on Hood blend from Fender to Bumper.. sometime Clear bra take off paints.. TRUST ME.. i been in Collision and Im Master ICAR collision and Benz and BMW elite Collision Cref.. i seen those for quite 3 years.. and it does peel some paints.. it not all.
I do like clear bra beacsue it help less rock chips. but dont like Yellow and may peel paint off.
