a recent tragedy...

aight, ill have pics up when i can. but today on my way to work, a damn minivan pulled out in front of me when i was doing about 25-30 miles per hour. didnt even have time to hit the brakes. and hit her front corner. basically, my hood looks like oragami, and my bumper is barely hanging on. as for my headlights, they are now in a 'crosseyed' position. the frame piece that the radiator hangs from is also bent. i will update soon with pics of the damage and some of the quoted repair prices. it looks like i will be getting a new hood and bumper. do i smell carbon fiber?? i think so!

okay, im getting an estimate done on monday. if i get enough, i am going to get the kaminari front end and the VIS EVO style cf hood from trixracing.com. now would anyone like to volunteer to rear end me as well? i need the rear bumper also. i hope i get my car back asap, this sucks having a car that i work so hard at to look nice but rather its all mangled. pics will be up later tonight.

ps... a guy i work with who works on cars is guessing $3000+ damage.

Your car does look like a cross eyed version! hahaha...thats what i was kinda thinkin it looked like... definitly sucks that it damaged behind your bumper tho. that alone can make it an expensive fix...but hey, bring on the cf hood and kit!

well, heres the verdict. its 2900 bucks in damage, plus whatever they cant see until the rip apart the car to fix it. ive worked out a plan and i am now getting a cf hood and the apex 2 body kit. i will have some extra cash left over and i gotta figure out what else i wanna buy...

Dude, 2900 is so not bad. When my integra was broken into and they tried hot wiring it n stuff but didnt succede...it costed the insurance company 2940$ to fix all the damage. Its so wierd what different stuff costs that you think would cost a fortune.
