Alfa Novice School is 3/7, HPDE school is 3/29
The Alfa club is holding their novice school in March. Most clubs require this school (BMW and Porches clubs do them as well) in order to be eligible for HPDEs at Pacific Raceways. Even if you don't plan to lap on a track, these schools are great fun and will get you better acquainted with you car.

Greeting from the Northwest Alfa Club,
Our one and only Novice School for 2009 is taking place on March 7th at Bremerton Raceways. The cost is $100 or $75 for women and teens.
We have 15 spots still open.
This is a great learning opportunity for those who wish to develop better street driving habits and skills or for those new drivers in your family.
Just go to motorsportreg.com to sign up.
We will provide lunch for you.
Thanks

If the alfa web site is current, drivers meeting is at 8:30 am.

I don't see a time on the registration site:

I think they usually run until 5:00 or so, but e-mail Kathleen (or call at 253-227-3953) to get the facts. You'd have to leave around 4:00 to get to Bellevue in time.

I'm pretty sure you have to attend the alfa club HPD school on March 29th to participate in lapping days. The March 7th class is for novices to get seat time for the March 29th school.
Please correct me if I am wrong...

Pretty sure thats how it is. They also let you lap if you have been to other driving schools. Really the March 29th one is all you need. The novice one is very simplified and they do pretty much everything on the 29th. If you are new they take you through the steps, if you have experience they pretty much let you loose on the track.

Hi Paul,
March 29th is the school if you want to do lapping days with us at PR and have not been on the track before, then you need to take that school. March 7th is really just for street driving. It does help if you are a novice to do both the novice ahd HP schools if you are planning to do track days.
The lapping day at Bremerton will work also if you have not been on the track before and want to go to PR.
Basicly we want a driver to have some experience on a track at high speeds like we will have at the March 29th school before they go to PR.
Does this help?
