What happened to you is the reason I am worried everytime I drive my car. I have a 2g talon, but the day I got it running after I went from bone stock to fully built I guy swerved on the freeway to miss a semi tire tread and just about took out my turbo xs FMIC and my new front end. I hate stupid drivers. Sorry to hear about the bad day. Good luck with getting it fixed.

You need to learn to self-tune man. It seems to be costing you a lot each time you take a car to get tuned

On Topic. hope things work out man. Good thing you got that insurance indeed

You need to get that car fixed and on the track ASAP! My g/f did the BSCC school two years ago... she said it wasn't that great. If you want somebody to help you your first time, I'd be more then happy All clubs have instructors at each event too.

Thanks everyone for the support and words. I'm hoping to have my car back in a few weeks, but it won't be up to NashSpec for a few months, those Voltex bumpers aren't easy to get.

^ I'll see how Progressive works this and make my decision from there. I've never been in an accident, so I don't anything to compare with... yet. I generously stated the value of my car to Progressive to be ~43k with all the mods, which is how they do their modified car insurance. The guy on the phone said they'd cover the after market parts, so lets see if they come through. I paid $873 for a six month premium on full coverage for my evo and subaru wagon, that's for my wife and I, so not bad.

Was going to say, w/ State Farm, there's no such thing as 'modified car' insurance. As long as you have reciepts, they'll replace what's there.

Ins companies are so freaking sketchy... Selling coverage on top of coverage should be illegal.

Hey bro I'm glad your okay and no injuries. I agree to the statement above about the state farm. Im pretty sure they cover every aftermarket parts you add on to your vehicle as long as you have the receipt. That's what they told me and I told them to take some pictures of my car including the aftermarket parts and put it on my file just in case something happen. But yeah bro thank God your okay.

Maybe I'll check'em out after all this is taken care of. Yeah, it didn't really make sence to me when you consider a full stock intercooler kit is $1800 + and an ETS kit is around $900 - $1200 depending on the options. The only parts I have which are more expensive then stock are my front bumper and ARC UICP, so yeah, the actual value of my car is probably lower then KBB.
