Unhappy How my day went...

Lets see, started out good. Dogs didn't give me much fuss and once I got my coffee and was off to BelKirk body shop to get my brakes done for this weekends autox things were looking better. However, that didn't last long . About 5 minutes later, while driving about 40 mph in congested traffic the big H3 in front of me suddenly swivered into the slow lane without braking and low-n-behold a Toyota pick-up was stopped in the road after hitting the car in front of him and that car hitting the car in front of him and the car in front of him slamming on his brakes to avoid the car in front of him. In total it was a 5 car pile-up on 167 north and I was the 5th . The H3 got around the Toyota but not before taking out the drivers side fender and possibly wheel as well as the Toyota's rear passenger side bed.

Here's what my baby looks like now:

Good question, I wish I knew. The insurance company hasn't done the estimate yet.

That's messed up. But, it actually makes me laugh a bit and I don't think I've done that since you know what.

Oh, the bumper was about $1500, without including shipping, add $400 for the paint, add another $300 for the 3M clear bra, and another $137 for the custom fitted brackets which help hold the bumper up, so a total of $2337. Damn, I guess it's a good thing I bought that modified car insurance .

There's also damage to my intercooler, radiator, ARC intake, ARC UICP, possibly my turbo, and my hood is toast.

I know some of you guys don't have modified car insurance, but if you have mods on your ride, I'd suggesting getting it ASAP, glad I did.

Man James, this really sucks!

Look at it this way... Out of this you can get... a CF hood, a black ETS intercooler/ intercooler pipes, JDM head lights..

Again, Call me if you need anything! I dont care what it is.

I'm hopin it works out this way, not sure about the head lights, for the passenger side doesn't look likes it's been touched, but it's hard to tell with the bumper smashed like it is.

Thanks man, I really appreciate you helpin me out today . I owe you a few... I'd say , but we both know where that might lead the thread.

Don't sweat it! What goes around comes around. Lets just hope everything gets taken care of. And most importantly it could of been worst, I would much rather have your car gone then you!!

Everything will work out in the end.

glad i could help

I've got an even better one for you...On my first trip to Maryland to have my WRX tuned at Turbo XS we stayed at a really nice holiday inn...now im very paranoid about where i park my car...i don't like parking around others...so, i parked in the parking garage, and between 2 columns...it was actually under the 3rd floor...So, we go check in, take our bags to the room, and then came back out to go get something to eat, only to find the ceiling had collapsed on my car and brown water was gushing all over it...the son of a *****ing water line busted....Needless to say, i don't have luck taking cars to get tuned
