The first EIRSCCA auto-x event is coming up this weekend on March 21st. The kickoff is at the "Chrome in the Dome" car show at ISU's Holt Arena. Bring your EVO to town and run the course in front of tons of spectators. It should be a fun event, and it's the first of it's kind up at Holt. Here's a link to the EIRSCCA website where you can find the complete schedule for 2009.

If anyone needs accommodations, let me know. I may be able to get a discount on hotel rooms, or if you really need to stay on the cheap, I may be able to offer up a room. After April 13th, I can be a lot more help with that, as I am currently waiting to close on my house.
Take care, hope to see as many EVO's there as possible!

Well it was a great event, especially having a few hundred people watching along the sides. There were 3 other Evos there, but I didn't have time to go over and say hi since I was working while they were running. If any of those guys are on the forum, pop in and say hi. Great looking cars!
Very nice VIII. Is this your first year in this car? I remember a couple years ago I thought I saw you in a honda. Maybe not the same person. Did you hang out with Toph a lot when he lived here? Again, maybe not the same person, but when I lived up at the house with Alex, Scott, and Rex, he always mentioned someone he called Tim who was into tuning.
Anyways, it all might be mistaken identity, but it was fun watching you guys run some fantastic looking cars. Good luck as the season progresses.
