Was just kicking around some ideas, next year: larger auto-X course, night drifting,Kids zone, vendor alley etc...

But, I think I feel kinda cheated on this event, WHO actually is the Winged Warrior Overall Champion? I feel bad for the high HP cars that could smoke alot of us in strait line, but not handle as well in the auto-X course. what do you think of "finishing" the event in the fall? I was thinking the auto-X course is bigger, and we run the 0-100-0MPH and give 1 big trophy: "Winged Warrior Grand Champion 2005". This would be by INVITE ONLY from the ones who competed last weekend, and we go out there and finish our business! If we cant re-do the auto-X event, maybe we can do the 0-100-0MPH DURING the INDY airshow in August, this has been discussed with the airport already, and they are considering it! The jumbo-trons there can re-cap the earlier auto-X event, (the "film" from Butler University) leading up to us running the final competition. Give this some thought, and let me know what you think. More exposure during the airshow, bigger audience, and people would come back on Mothers day weekend Next year to watch Part 1 of the 2006 Shootout! Again, either way, Airshow or in the fall, the only ones gunning will be participants there on May 7th, I have the list!!!!!! Dont try to sneak in!

Whats up Evoimport6, YOU actually won the whole show, lowest time!!!!!! the nissan above you was actually the trailered datsun 280/300ZX (flat-black) doesnt count (a regular auto Xer!), so lets give it up for EVOIMPORT6!!!!!!!!!!! I will keep you all posted, if enough interest to finish it off, we'll do it!!!!!!I go back to the airport to discuss options tomorrow, It would be cool to finish off the event in front of thousands at the air-show. Our "original" track was to include the taxi-way around the grass (on the opposite side of the spectators) and that area was "taken" from us when we were setting up the track at 6:30 AM! If we get that back, higher speeds, and possibly a 3rd gear shift? Congrats again!

Thanks for the Non Turbo Lancer Class! Although it does make me feel like I am part of a Special Class.... As in Special Ed.... I know we are handicaped, but I would like to know how our cars stack up against other NA stock cars. Oh well, maybe next year.
I'm up for the Fall Event if us Stock Lancer Guys will be allowed to compete...

I ended up racing with the stock lancer guys because the announcer announced the class wrong. He said "non-turbo lancer class" instead of "non-turbo lancer STOCK class". Oh well, i will get it right next time... and I wont make the same dumb track mistakes either
