If it is perfectly tuned it shouldn't do it. Of course it is a shorter pipe than a long exhaust...you should use your VISHNU decal as a heat shield so that you dont burn the beautiful blue by you paint

 

I tried it last night, but didnt get any fire, the Vishnu decal is off the car now, will be installing a new one today. The Methanol should burn cooler, so I am hoping it will minimize a "drivers-side-vinyl-BBQ!"

 

yeah keving I actually do have a wire that can be used to do the V3 reflash. There is a thread on this forum about a wire you can actually use on the harness that more or less has no function. So you cut it off then use it and its connector to do the reflash procedure. I

I'm going to try and come to Mitsu tommorow and see all the crazy **** you are having installed. Maybe I'll screw around with my exede and try to get the V3 working while we wait for your beast of a car to emerge from the dealership..haha

Sorry, call me lazy here, but I don't want to re-read the whole thread. What will be all the events at this and when/where is it exactly again? I need to tell the wife and makes sure my calendar is open

 

Date isn't set yet (sometime this fall). It's at an airport near Indianapolis (about a 3.5 hour drive from Ann Arbor). Events are still being decided, but most likely a road coarse, 0-100-0, drags, and a show.

 

Nice Hopefully I don't have any classes and can make it. Would I be able to race in the road course? Is this per approval of smokedmustang? I've mentioned I was interested in next years, but I don't think I've expressed interested yet for this fall. If there is space, I'm interested. I'm doing my suspension mods this summer (hopefully coilovers are next) in preparation for this event.

 

Still waiting on apporval from the airport for the Fall event, but it looks like next year at Indianapolis raceway park(IRP) in mid May is definetly a GO! go to their website for a track layout. NASCAR races there, as well as a Major NHRA event. The events will be 2+ Mile road course, 3-4 laps, and a Night drag race to determine who is the baddest, Import or Domestic, The ones who express interest on this site, or the ones at the last show May 7th, get 1st dibs on the "spots". Then once you guys are notified, I will put it up all over the place, and the MASSIVE marketing campain will begin. I am working on a photo shoot within the month for our posters (full-size) for next year. have to start getting/acquiring for big sponsor money, you aint seen nothin yet till you see this next show!!! This will be the premiere event in the midwest, and a one of a kind event. this will be unique as it will be a PARTICIPATION event, NOT a spectator event. This event should be a household name, real soon. And it will always be a Charity event for the kids at Riley Childrens Hospital. A Total win-win event.

 

That's just awesome stuff! Can't wait!

Smoked, I will vouch for this event being a Family Event. My mother, wife and daughter all attended May 7th. My mother was very impressed with it not being a Booze Fest. I can't wait till the next event, maybe with my new tires I can shave a few seconds off my time by not sliding.... Is there any chance I could get a ride along in your new and improved stickermobile?

Thanks for the props Jay, there is a damn great chance you can ride along in the sticker-sled, its at Family Mitshu now having the surgery (actually on Monday the work starts) the cams/turbo came in today, the AMS meth kit is going in also monday, did you see my post on the sidepipe? that is bad A**, go to Family North and have a look! I am trailering it down to Dyno4mance (georgia) on friday PM for a Dyno tune Saturday, so it looks like you can stop by the house on Sunday July 2nd for a fire belching wheel squealing ride!
