Video from PIR

This past weekend. Ran into a little problem with lots of crank-case pressure and the catch can so I took it easy.

Nice. Pretty quick acceleration from 80 mph to 135 mph! Whats the deal with the crankcase pressure?

I guess these forged motors typically create high crank case pressure. I checked the compression and it's good. So I'm going to put larger diameter breather hoses on the valve cover. And build a more high flow catch can. Kinda like below.

The car is wicked nasty fast. I can't wait to put the R1's on and go back in the dry. The Conti all-seasons did ok, but they wouldn't take much in the corners or braking so I just went easy and tried to learn the line.

No chicane again! Sucks for you...
I went to early CSCC last year and even in a good weather they closed the chicane.
How was the track in the rain? I haven't had a rain day over there so that'll give me good idea. Sounds freakin awsome man!

Yeah CSCC doesn't do the chicane the first two sessions of the year. It looked fun!

I took it easy so the rain wasn't an issue. On some full tread RA-1's or good street tires it could be really fun. I took a ride along in a race car on full tread RA-1'sand it was doing great. My all-seasons did fine, but just couldn't handle any sort of big loads. If you stayed on line and didn't track out in certain areas you could stay away from the standing water - as long as it wasn't pouring.

It started coming down hard at the end and this guy had a little issue on the front straight and slammed a couple walls.

We also had some crank case pressure problems with the race car, that was with the factory 8 turbo i could only imagine with the power your making you would need a pretty large canister. Nice Car

mine was parked. i broke the lug nut key before the day started. i had race pads on one side and stock pads on another. So i canceled. kinda glad i wanted to get one session that was slightly dry and it doesn't look like it would have happened.

I talked to the guy in the black one for a bit. didn't get a chance to talk to the girl in the s14.

Was yours the kinda olive drab colored one?

The 4th session was semi dry, but that's it.
