Hopefully that is what is it since thats easier to fix than make a stock airbox (needs to be there because of the class regs) work better.
Spoke briefly to the slowboy folks and they are pretty sure that the MBC is not the issue... they are saying Actuator Spring.

I tool a look at the other turbo I have here and I guess I can see how that if the valve won't stay close while boosting, it would dump the pressure like we're seeing.

Question is, how to fix it and still be "stock".

Hmmm.....

fp has a stock high pressure WGA im sure you can put that on and still be in the class. cuz I dont see why not if you can put a MBC on cuz they both have the same effect.

http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...Lancer-TurboHW

thats what I would do plus one will ever know and also your WGA is bad so you had to get a replacement

Depends on how close to OEM it looks, I suppose... 'cause this group KNOWS.

Seriously, I'm not even going to come close to bending the rules on this or any other thing. I'm going to have enough scrutiny as it is, stuffing an EVO into this class.

yea I hear ya it looks exactly the same thing just a different spring in it. everything else is the same even color. which is why is should be an issue.
