Graphite Gray Evolution 9 MR For Sale: Showroom Condition!
I was in the same boat. I wanted to do something different after 2yrs of ownership. I'll admit I miss the evo but there are so many great cars to enjoy out there and I can't afford them all. I'm content to have experienced the evo and may buy a used one down the road as a third or fourth vehicle. I still would like to drive/own a RS4, Z06, 335i, 350Z, GTR......the list goes on. Apparently I get bored easy
bump for a nice ride, i got rid of mine and picked up a truck since i was all about off roading and getting dirty and now i miss my old VIII everyday, figure ill get another one after iraq.
I have to agree with caesar you shouldnt just sell the evo just because your in business school, if that's the case your not showing your true colors and personality and being the real you...but your changing who you are and your car in this case for the wrong reason just my opinion but good luck with the sale, if this is what you choose to do since we all know you like to flip back and forth all the time lol

Thanks guys
it's saying a lot that you guys are convincing me to keep the Evo - shows that you actually care about another member and their decision making process. Some people usually just screams: "part-out!" then go buys all the parts
Which is fine, but this shows something more.
I am actually a bit hopeful as I have been talking to a friend I have known since HS who lives 2-3 minutes from me in the next neighborhood and I was shocked to see that he found me here. He might be buying the Evo mostly as a whole car so I'm stoked because it'll be going to a good home. He's been an EvoM member for a while and has been lurking several months so if he does buy it, it will go to a really good home
... a few minutes walk from its home now lol.

I work in the professional world as well. I can tell you that I have never met a single client who would look down on me for having a tastefully modified Evo. As long as it is clean on the outside and inside, and doesn't have a super loud exhaust I think it will actually do you more good than harm. Think about it, most older men are car guys or have been car guys in the past. It might actually set you apart from another "boring" person trying to get their business. Just my take anyway. I think that the GG color is also very unassuming. Keep the car.
Just think Alvin you could be like Lloyd on the show Entourage... he drives a mod'ed Supra! I say keep it, it looks super clean now, and with a subtle exhaust I think it would be perfect in your scenario. My .02 cents
problem is lloyd's car looks like it was the star of the fast and the furious
Alvin, just sold mine, and I'm missing it big time. I could care less what other people think of me by my car. As long as it's clean and not ricered out it doesn't matter. I own my own web engineering company and I am constantly meeting new clients and contacts. Nine times out of ten when I pull up in my evo I get a big smile from the client vs not. If anything it's been more of an ice breaker than any other thing. Don't do it, you'll regret it.
I'm getting a X so i can justify my sale. You're just going to be evo-less for nothing. Changing cars isn't going to get you anywhere fast.

Alvin, I'm about to become a cop.
A cop that drives an Evo.
"Business and Evo" isnt as a bad combination as "Cop and Evo".
Trust me, I'm going to get a lot more flak than you are......
Dont make me pull you over in your "new and shiny" 335i / 350Z and give you a ticket for "abandonment of a vehicle".
DONT SELL IT!
(Seriously, I'm about to become a Lynnwood Police Officer...... Semi serious on the ticket, just to make you keep the Evo. LOL.) s(^_^)b
