4g64 2.4 Built Short Block
Hey guys, I have a built short block here I bought built from a shop in Co.
I had bought it under the impression it would fit my 2g, being out of a Spyder, but it was a later year Spyder.
Just so happened to be the Spyder that Evo guys use for their 2.4 builds, this is an already built motor, ready to bolt on your head and drop it in.
Here are some specs / pics:

BRAND NEW 4g64 Block
BRAND NEW 4g64 Crank
BRAND NEW Oil Pump
Balance Shafts Eliminated...

BRAND NEW F R Main Seals
BRAND NEW Water Pump
Also is drilled/tapped with oil squirters.

I got ahold of the guy I got it from, to find where it was built because I forgot when he told me.
It is from Street Concepts in Colorado.
Built with a gap to hold the equivalent of around 600 hp. Maybe a little less, with some blowby.
The guy told me it was for my year DSM, and it was from a Spyder, since thats the 2.4 block I needed.
It turns out it was from the later year, which I can't use ONLY because the transmissions have a different bellhousing pattern, which like I said, happens to be the same as an Evo.
Which is why any evo with a 2.4 has this engine, much like DSM's with 2.4's have either a 4g64 (7bolt) out of a 95-99 Eclipse Spyder, or a g4cs if I remember right (6 bolt) out of a Hyundai.
So if you're looking for a nice street monster, with some track use, this is it.
2.4's are the way to go, as opposed to 2.3, its less stress on you're cylinder walls/rings, and if you're going for a big turbo, its the only way to go, way less lag.
