Clutch Install North of Washington

Hi Guys,

Its time for new clutch.

Can you guys recommend a shop/person who can do the install for me? I'm currently shopping for the ACT's street clutch (MB7-HDSS). One vendor quoted $550 shipped. This sounds good but I need someone (preferably close to the Canada border) who can do the install.

A local shop quoted roughly $700CAD for labour. He said the install will be close to 10 hours. I dont know if its reasonable?

Guys, feel free to throw in a name of a shop/person for recommendation.

Thank youuu in advance!

Josel

If you're up North I recommend 2020 Motorsports in Bellingham WA. He's familiar with doing Evo clutches and is a good friend of mine. Guillaume Marceau. You'll have to ask him about price and turn around time.

Go with recommendations. Better than taking a risk with a no name installer.

I would stay away from an ACT clutch though - just run a search.

10 hours seems excessive if they know what they are doing. There is a short cut that cuts it down considerably.

^actually im not surprised they are charging this much because the havent worked on an evo's clutch before. i believe they have experience on eclipses though.

i will try contacting 2020 motorspots first. just wondering - i tried google-ing it but it didnt come up... whats up with that?

bellingham is not a bad drive from where im from which is pretty cool!
