So you were guilty, and want an attorney?? You can get the proof of insurance dropped, just provide proof that you had insurance at the time of the ticket. Speeding, you can do the deferment thing, or possibly some type of traffic school- the state just wants your money, and more than likely will be much less than an attorney.

+1 for Andrew! He has also gotten me off once in Shoreline/Lynnwood (someone else mentioned Lynnwood being difficult, I guess).

WA state doesn't have a traffic school option to offset a ticket. They used to (I went a loooong time ago) but they don't anymore.

Also, while one ticket might be less in the short term than an attorney, your record will reflect this and your insurance rates will to. Maybe not so much with 1 but if you end up getting another ticket in the next 3 years (even something dumb) you're in the crapper.

Goes down if you call them and remind them, you mean? You have to do that with Allstate, anyway. Did you say you are with USAA?

Personally I would rather pay my attorney $250 than pay the state $150 so that some Piece of **** Traffic Cop can get credit for another citation for something useless like 8mph over the limit or my last one........excessive noise from my exhaust.

W. Andrew Phipps is the man to call. 206-419-2907 is the number I had for him, but it seems he moved or changed his number. The number I found was 425-688-0787.

He's the man, and I believe if he looses he will pay for your ticket!! I paid him a flat fee of 250.00 bucks, and he took care of everything. I didn't have to do anything, but write the check when I received word that the ticket was dropped. I was told my friend that this guy does not loose and he backs it up.

Best attorney for any kind of traffic citation is Jeannie Mucklestone 206 623 3343.

I was in court about 2-3 yrs ago and I saw her dismiss like 7 tickets in a row. I was representing myself at the time and I lost. Ever since, I always used her and her success rate has always been 100%.

Also guys keep in mind that the entire state is in a world of hurt due to extremely lower sales income tax revenue so guess what, traffic citations will most likely increase everywhere as each city wants up their revenue. Easy money.

It is more than likely, it is most definitely, and has already been happening in the last year, from what I've seen.
