The Perrin is foam, right? I'm running the old Buschur right now (the blue) and it seems to work well. I've thought about rocking the Perrin, though. I don't have any extras laying around, but bump for a good guy!

Can you use the perrin filter on any intake pipe? I know some intake pipes are longer than others and the perrin filter is huge.

For the most part yes. Perrin is big around but fairly short. Nice thing is it doesn't mess with your MAF much. Has pretty laminar airflow and they are a multistage airfilter built by UNI. If I can sink my dirtbike in 10ft of water/mud at probably 10000rpm and not suck in anything but water thats pretty good by me (most dirtbikes run UNI filters). They have really good filtration contrary to believe if you clean them about every 10k. Tryed to figure out if my ARC has the same build structure as the UNI but its hard to tell. Thinking about switching just for *****. What intake pipe do you run btw?

I'm guessing Jake has a Buschur pipe if he had their old filter, but you never know where Jake pics his stuff up from. I've been running my Buschur for 2 years or so and haven't had a problem yet. </knock on wood>

So the next question from me is how the fugg did you sink your dirtbike into 10 ft of water/mud at 10k rpm?!

A very interesting story...let's just say there was a big jump that had water on the other side...

+1 if it's a Uni Filter. Of course the ones for dirt bikes are a lot different than what perrin has. For one on dirt bikes they use 2 separate filters. I believe the Perrin is just 1 filter. But either way UNI is top notch foam. Been using their filters on my race bikes for 15+ years now.

I had a buschur pipe, but I didn't like it because it was not S bent. So I got an ETS one for cheap, didnt like it so I traded Ryon all my ets piping in silver for all of his fujita piping in black.

And I picked up another filter today, so I no longer need one, thanks!
