I'm making my LICP and UICP for my Magnus thursday. I'm also welding my MAP sensor boss onto the magnus and welding on a lathed boss for the dipstick tube after modifying the tube. I had to do a bit of rewiring to get the harness how I wanted (I'm on my 20th+ iteration)

I'll probably go with brushed aluminum. Black couplers and a TiAL bov. Unfortunately I have a polished TiAL bov and not the black one... so it won't be uber JDM.

I got the FP Red with the 80mm cover and the 3" intake from them w/out the recirc. I'll try it and if it doesn't work I'll sell the piping and try again.

As you know I ALMOST bit on the TSHTA35R setup... couldn't pull the trigger. Maybe this winter.

Perhaps my issue is more about the use of a flash for the pictures?

Like I said, the custom work is very nice!!!! (just a tad jelous of your skill)

^Croat?! My best friend's wife is too (of course, I'm sure a lot of people are...haha). How'd you like that Mirko fight? I was wondering if it might be the flash. Makes everything liven up unnaturally.

Ernie, which TiAL do you have? I have the 50mm and it is black. If you really want to go that direction let me know and I'd probably swap ya. Speakin' of the TiAL, I still gotta get in there and snip that spring a bit.

Looks great Freddie. And the new stuff improves functionality - that's what I like to see!

You have no idea... before with the BOV, with the long recirc would take just enough time to stabalize after it shut after shifts to really mess up my shifts in the 1/4 mile, now with everything centrally located and with the BOV recirc flange at an angle into the intake the BOV is ALOT more quiet, and recovery time for shifts are much improved!

Yahu, I have the polished 50mm TiAL bov. It'd be worth looking at, what condition is it in?

^brand spanking new. I just got it when I went with the Magnus + Red, so less than 1000 miles or so? What about yours? BTW - are you also running speed density? Previously I assumed you weren't, but with the TiAL you probably are.

Send me a PM so we can go offline.

BTW - here is a pic of my <fuggin' dirty> engine bay as a comparison. I went with the flat black pipes from ETS during my last round of updates, so not as much for the flash to catch. Also, I still have the stock, grungy, mani cover (obviously).

When is R/TErnie making some of that action for his car...
The stock black pieces expand under high boost and have been known to leak with age/mileage. Simply replacing those with something better like the samco/forge couplers help. To to do that it takes about the same effort as switching to a full stock route UICP hence why some people do it.

I just ordered the ETS one the other day....haven't had a chance to put it on though.

On topic. Your bays look so nice and clean. I can't post mine here at all .

Actually we fabbed up the Magnus UICP with a Tial flange last night and got it all welded together, just have to fab up the LICP and get them beaded now...
