Pics of the new engine bay...

I bought a Nesei Full pipe kit with mini battery, and R/TErnie custom fabbed me a new intake pipe, got a new filter, and did some fab work on the UICP also for the BOV location... just thought I would share...

Looks really nice, guys! How do you like the Synapse, Fred? I'm getting some BOV surge with my TiAL, but have been too broken (aka, lazy) to get down there and cut it, some.

Looks good! A bit busy for my tastes, but I can appreciate the attention to detail in the fab work.

^lol - have you ever taken a pic of your engine bay? Unless you've done some re-wire work and maybe toss in an aftermarket intake, it will be a bit busy. I suppose the stock big ol' battery and stock airbox hide some items.

I like the cleaned up IC pipes and intake. Everything fits together nicely.

I like it... it is a bit bulky, but it drives really smooth with pretty much no flutter!

AFE Power dry element

Thanks for all the compliments guys...
Here is what the engine bay looked like before guys... I don't have a pic with the synapse installed in the HKS location, with a big nasty recirc hose running from there all the way down... Just picture it...

Much better.

I always found it semi-pointless to run "upgraded" IC pipes if you didn't take advantage of the short routing and small battery. The short route pipes make for a much cleaner engine bay, as well as less piping - and you get to remove a bunch of weight with a small battery.

When is R/TErnie making some of that action for his car...
